Waukegan Labs LLC builds consumer products that turn everyday questions into numbers you can act on: what you can spend this month, whether you ate enough protein today. We pair careful engineering with careful design, so the measuring fits into how people already live instead of becoming one more chore.
We’re a small company in Redwood City, California. Each product starts from a question in our own lives that the usual apps answered badly, or not at all. We build things we use ourselves, and we’d rather ship something narrow that works than something broad that almost does.
What we’re building
Two apps in development: one for money and one for food. Both are designed and built in-house by Waukegan Labs LLC for iPhone and Android.
Sharpe Finance
Status: In developmentA budgeting app for people whose income arrives in lumps. It spreads RSU vests and bonuses across the months they actually cover, then gives you one number: your guilt-free spending for the month.
Pea Happy
Status: In developmentA nutrition app that helps vegans stay vegan. It finds vegan food and restaurants nearby, organizes your nutrition plan, and tracks protein so eating well on a plant-based diet takes less effort.
